Temperature of the water is not rising

Issue:

The heat pump starts, no error message is displayed, but it doesn't produce heat.

Origin:

When the heat pump doesn't produce heat, it can be due to the compressor not starting or insufficient operating time.

Solution:

  1. The Compressor:

To ensure that the heat pump produces heat, it's important to check if the compressor is starting. Please verify on the pressure gauge that the needle rises when the heat pump starts.

Example of a pressure gauge:

              A l'arrêt                                    En fonctionnement

  • If the needle doesn't rise, we invite you to request an after-sales service.

  • If the needle rises, the compressor starts: the heat pump is indeed producing heat. The potential issue might be related to the operating time.

  1. Operating Time:

To maximize your heat pump's performance, make sure that the installation instructions are followed.

To achieve the desired temperature, we recommend running the heat pump (as well as the filtration) continuously until the desired temperature is reached. Once achieved, you can then reduce the operating time to maintain the water temperature.

The condition of the evaporator also affects the heat pump's performance. Ensure that it is clean. For this, the Cleanpac cleaner will be perfect.

  1. Valve Settings:

To optimize your heat pump's heating, we invite you to adjust your hydraulic valves as follows:

Inlet fully open at 100%

Outlet partially open at 75%

Bypass partially open at 50%

We also invite you to ensure that your heat pump is well suited to your needs using our "How to Choose Your Heat Pump" tool on our website www.poolex.fr.
